Carrot is a 3-star Fire Mage built around burn damage and buff removal. Her basic attack can apply a burn and then detonates any burns already on that single target for a burst of damage, while her ultimate hits all enemies, strips two buffs from each, and can burn them again. Her passive turns being attacked into an advantage, granting her an Attack buff and an Attack-scaling barrier for a turn while burning whoever struck her. She leans on burn stacking and a Soulburn-fueled detonate, so her best damage comes from setting up burns first.

Counters

  • Buff-stacking and shield-reliant enemies — Her ultimate dispels two buffs from every enemy before damage, so teams that pile on Attack buffs, immunity, barriers, or near-unkillable defensive buffs get those layers torn off right before she connects.
  • Damage-over-time targets she can finish — Her basic attack detonates burns already on the enemy at the end of the turn, so any target already stacked with burns takes a sudden extra hit on top of the new burn she applies.
  • Aggressive attackers who hit her first — Her passive triggers after she is attacked: she gains increased Attack and an Attack-based barrier for a turn and burns the attacker, punishing foes that try to focus her down.
  • Fragile backlines in an all-out swing — Her ultimate strikes the whole enemy team with fire and a chance to burn, letting her chip and ignite multiple low-defense targets at once.

Countered by

  • Effect immunity and cleanse — Her threat is built on burns; an enemy under immunity simply refuses the burn, and a teammate who cleanses removes the burns before her basic attack can detonate them, gutting her payoff.
  • Enemies who shorten or steal buffs — Her own edge comes from the Attack buff and barrier her passive grants; foes that strip, steal, or cut the duration of those buffs leave her without the survivability and damage boost she relies on.
  • Setup dependence and Soul reliance — Her biggest hits require burns to already be on the target and lean on Soulburn for the detonate and extra turn, so against a clean enemy with no burns, or when Souls are scarce, her damage falls off sharply.
  • Low base durability of a 3-star Mage — Her barrier only lasts a turn and triggers after she is hit, so burst attackers who can kill her in one blow, or sustained pressure that ignores the short shield, beat her before the punish-on-attack loop pays off.
