He is a 3-star Light Knight tank whose damage scales off his max Health. His active cleanses every debuff on him before granting a Health-scaling barrier for two turns. He is a durable, HP-stacked protector who soaks hits and pins down whoever he provokes rather than dealing meaningful offense.

  • Single damage dealers who must hit a specific target — His attack has a 75% chance to provoke an enemy for a turn, forcing that hero to attack Eaton instead of its intended victim. A lone carry that needs to land on your backline gets redirected into the tank.
  • Burst attackers aimed at fragile allies — His passive routes 30% of the damage an ally takes onto himself, so a heavy hit meant to delete a squishy carry is partly absorbed by the high-Health tank in their place.
  • Debuff and damage-over-time stackers — His active cleanses all debuffs on himself and then shields him with a two-turn barrier, so attempts to pile on poisons, bleeds, or other lingering effects get wiped off and walled out on his turn.
  • Soft control and disruption — Because he can strip debuffs off himself and his damage and barrier scale with his large Health pool, slows, target marks, and similar pressure struggle to keep him from doing his protective job.

Countered by

  • Cleansers and immunity grantors — His provoke is his only real lock on an enemy. A team that cleanses the provoke or pre-applies immunity simply ignores the redirect and goes back to hitting whoever it wants.
  • Dispel against his barrier — His defensive payoff is the two-turn barrier from his active. Strip or dispel it and he loses his main layer of protection, leaving only his raw Health.
  • Damage that bypasses the tank entirely — His passive only diverts 30% of one ally's damage, and only the highest single share applies. Burst that ignores damage redirection, or simply overkills the target through the 70% that still lands, gets past him.
  • Cooldown windows and slow speed — His cleanse-and-barrier sits on a five-turn cooldown and he is a slow unit, so between uses he is exposed and often acts late. Pressure applied right after he barriers, or in the turns before he can act, finds him without protection.
