Serila is a 4-star Fire Mage built around single-target attrition. Her basic attack can lower a target's Defense, her second skill lowers the target's Attack while buffing her own Attack and resets its own cooldown whenever it lands a kill, and her ultimate stacks two separate Burn effects on one enemy for ongoing damage-over-time. Everything in her kit hits one target at a time, so she chips down and softens a single priority foe rather than pressuring a whole team.

Counters

  • Tanky single targets she can wear down — Her basic attack can stick a Defense reduction and her ultimate piles on two Burn effects at once, so durable bruisers and high-Defense walls bleed health every turn even when she cannot crack them in one hit.
  • Enemy damage dealers she defangs — Spirit Absorb can lower the target's Attack for two turns while raising her own Attack, blunting an opposing carry's hits and letting her trade up against it.
  • Heal-reliant or sustain-based foes — Stacked Burn damage-over-time keeps eating through targets that lean on regeneration to stay alive, since the bleed keeps ticking regardless of their healing windows.
  • Low-health stragglers she can chain into — When Spirit Absorb finishes off an enemy it immediately resets its own cooldown, so against weakened or low-defense targets she can keep firing it back-to-back and snowball through a softened side.

Countered by

  • Cleanse and dispel — Her whole threat is debuffs — Defense down, Attack down, and the two Burns. An ally cleanser wipes them off her victims and an enemy dispeller strips the Attack buff she gives herself, leaving her with almost nothing to follow up on.
  • Effect resistance and buff-duration cutting — Each of her debuffs is only a chance to land and lasts just two turns; resisting them or shaving their duration removes the Burn pressure and the stat breaks she depends on.
  • Immunity grantors — A team that hands out immunity walls off her Defense down, Attack down, and Burns entirely, so her single-target chip damage hits a brick wall before it can start.
  • Burst and AoE pressure — She acts one target at a time with a four-turn skill for the Attack reduction and a five-turn ultimate for the double Burn, so fast wide-hitting teams overwhelm her before her slow attrition plan can pay off, and unhealable effects shut down the self-sustain in her kit.
