Pyllis is a 3-star Dark Knight tank built entirely around Defense. Her basic attack and her cooldown skill both hit a single enemy and provoke it for one turn, forcing that target to attack only her, with damage scaling off her Defense. Her passive raises her own Defense each time she is struck (stacking up to three times) and shares a Defense buff with the whole team on every fourth hit she absorbs, while her cooldown skill also wraps her in a Defense-scaling barrier. She is a sticky single-target lockdown bruiser, not a multi-target threat.

Counters

  • Single hard-hitting attackers — Her provoke forces one enemy to attack only her for a turn, neutralizing a key damage dealer while her ever-growing Defense and self-barrier soak the blow she invited.
  • Attrition and sustained-damage teams — The more she gets hit, the tougher she becomes: Defense stacks up to three times on her and a team-wide Defense buff goes out on every fourth hit she eats, so prolonged fights tilt in her favor.
  • Physical and Defense-bypassed bruisers — Both her offensive skills deal damage proportional to her Defense, so the same stat that keeps her alive also lets her trade and punish enemies trying to grind her down.

Countered by

  • Debuff immunity and cleanse — Her only control is a one-turn provoke; an enemy with immunity simply refuses it, and a cleanser wipes it off the locked target, freeing them to ignore her entirely.
  • Buff removal and duration cuts — Her whole identity is buffs she gives herself and allies (Defense stacks, team Defense, barrier); stripping or shortening those collapses both her durability and her support value.
  • Slow, single-target tempo — She is slow and her provoke skill is on a four-turn cooldown, so fast teams can burst around her or kill her allies before she can re-apply lockdown or stack enough Defense.
  • Targets that ignore the taunt — Provoke only redirects one enemy for one turn, so cleave or area attackers and anyone she has not provoked can freely strike past her to reach the backline.
