Sonia is a 3-star Light Soul Weaver built purely as a defensive support, with no passive and almost no offense. Her first skill fires on one enemy, then hands the lowest-Health ally (not herself) a barrier for 2 turns whose strength scales with her own max Health. Her second skill heals a single ally off a recovery cube, again scaling with her max Health, and her third skill grants the whole team immunity for 2 turns and then heals everyone, also scaling with her max Health. Everything she does keys off being built as a beefy HP bruiser-healer, and her big team-wide protection sits on a long cooldown.

Counters

  • Teams that win by stacking debuffs and crowd control — Her ultimate gives every ally immunity for 2 turns, so the next wave of stuns, silences, defense breaks, poisons and slows simply bounces off the whole team. That single button neutralizes lineups whose entire plan is to lock you down or bleed you with damage-over-time.
  • Sustained-damage and chip-damage compositions — Between a single-target heal and a team-wide heal that both scale off her large max Health pool, she out-sustains enemies who try to grind you down over many turns rather than burst you in one go.
  • Focus-fire on a fragile ally — Her first skill automatically shields the lowest-Health ally with an HP-scaled barrier for 2 turns, so an enemy trying to pick off your weakest hero gets stalled by a fresh wall of effective health each time she acts.
  • Heavy-hitting attackers when she is built tanky — Because her barrier, heal and team heal all grow with her own max Health, investing in bulk turns her into a wall that blunts big incoming hits and keeps the team topped up against burst attackers.

Countered by

  • Heroes that strip or dispel buffs — Her entire value is the barrier and the team immunity she hands out. An enemy that removes buffs can erase the shield or wipe the immunity the turn after she casts it, leaving the team naked for the follow-up.
  • Anti-heal / unhealable effects — Two of her three skills are heals that scale off her Health. If an enemy blocks healing, her single-target and team recovery do nothing, collapsing her to just a barrier-and-immunity bot.
  • Burst windows during her cooldowns — Team immunity sits on a 5-turn cooldown and her single heal on 2 turns, so once she has used them she has nothing left but a basic shield. A fast burst team can blitz the team in the gap before immunity comes back up.
  • Fast openers and pure offense — She is slow with no attack threat or passive, so quick enemies act first and can apply their key debuffs or land a kill before her protection ever goes out; she also relies on being a built-up, geared HP wall to function.
