Alexa is a 3-star Ice Thief whose finisher, Crushing Blow, hits a single enemy for more damage the more debuffs that enemy is currently carrying, so she wins by stacking debuffs and then cashing them in. Her S2 Cold Edge sets that up by inflicting two lingering poisons for two turns and instantly pushing her own Combat Readiness up by 30% so she acts again sooner. Her S1 Fell strikes with dual swords and, on a critical hit, has a 50% chance to chain an extra Lightning Bolt attack. She is a single-target damage dealer that rewards loading the target with poisons before the finisher.

Counters

  • Tanky, high-health single targets — Her poison effects deal damage as a percentage of the target's max Health each turn, so the bigger the enemy's health pool the more her stacked poison chews through it independent of defense, and her finisher hits harder the more debuffs are stacked on it.
  • Single high-priority enemies she can focus down — Her whole kit is built around one target: she layers poisons with Cold Edge, then detonates with Crushing Blow whose damage scales directly with the number of debuffs on that enemy, letting her delete one chosen threat rather than spread pressure.
  • Slower enemies in the turn order — Cold Edge pushes her own Combat Readiness by 30%, so she takes turns sooner and can keep refreshing her poisons and re-attacking before slower opponents get to act.
  • Crit-vulnerable foes — A critical hit from her S1 has a 50% chance to trigger an extra Lightning Bolt attack, so against enemies she reliably crits she squeezes out bonus damage and burst on top of her normal strikes.

Countered by

  • Cleansers — Her damage and her finisher both live or die on the poison and bleed she stacks; an ally who wipes those effects off the target removes her sustained damage and guts Crushing Blow, which scales on debuff count, down to a weak hit.
  • Effect resistance and debuff immunity — If the enemy resists or is immune to debuffs, her poisons simply never land, leaving her with only modest direct attacks and a finisher that scales on debuffs she could not apply.
  • Burst that kills her before she ramps — She needs multiple turns to layer poisons before her finisher pays off, and as a frail 3-star Thief with no passive and no defensive tools, she can be picked off early before that damage ever comes due.
  • Long cooldowns on her payoff skills — Cold Edge runs on a 3-turn cooldown and Crushing Blow on a 5-turn cooldown, so once she spends her debuff setup and finisher she has only her basic attack for several turns and her pressure drops off sharply.
