Doll Maker Pearlhorizon is an Earth Mage control specialist who shuts enemies down with sleep and stun. Her first skill claws a single target with a chance to lower their hit chance, while Hypnosis hits the whole enemy team for a chance to put them to sleep for a turn and pushes her own turn forward by 10% Combat Readiness for every sleep she lands. Her finisher, Endless Nightmare, stuns one enemy and, if that enemy is already asleep, tacks on bonus damage equal to 10% of their max Health while ignoring their Effect Resistance. She is a debuff-driven disruptor, not a heavy damage dealer, leaning on chaining sleep into stun to keep targets locked out of the fight.

Counters

  • Slow, action-reliant carries — Sleep across the whole enemy team plus a single-target stun lets her freeze enemies before they can move, so heroes that need to take a turn to counter, build stacks, or fire off a payoff get locked out of acting.
  • High-HP bruisers and tanks — Her finisher adds damage equal to 10% of the target's max Health when they are asleep, so the bigger the enemy's health pool, the more her setup hurts them.
  • Evasion and dodge-based units — Her claw can stack a hit-chance reduction on a target, chipping away at enemies who rely on dodging to survive.
  • Effect-resistance stackers — Endless Nightmare ignores the target's Effect Resistance, so enemies who try to dodge her stun by piling on resistance still get locked down.

Countered by

  • Cleansers — Removing the sleep wakes the target early, which both undoes her lockdown and erases the bonus-Health damage her finisher only deals against sleeping enemies.
  • Effect immunity — An immunity buff on the enemy makes her sleep, stun, and hit-chance debuffs bounce off entirely, leaving her with little impact.
  • Pressure that wakes sleeping targets — Sleep breaks the moment a sleeping enemy is hit, so any incidental or area damage from the enemy team can pop her control before she chains into the stun finisher.
  • Burst that races her cooldowns — Her control sits on multi-turn cooldowns and her Combat Readiness self-push only triggers when sleep actually lands, so a faster team that opens hard or simply outruns her can act before she sets up.
