Carmainerose is a 3-star Fire Mage built as a single-target disruptor. Her basic attack claws one enemy and heals her for a portion of the damage dealt, while her second skill strikes a target and pushes their Combat Readiness backward to deny their turn. Her third skill attacks one enemy, strips all of their buffs, and raises her own Attack and Defense for 2 turns. She has no passive, hits only one target at a time, and is slow, so her disruption lands after most opponents have already acted.

Counters

  • Heroes leaning on stacked buffs — Her third skill attacks and wipes every buff off the target, so an enemy who has spent setup time stacking Attack, Defense, barriers, or invincibility loses all of it in one hit and is left exposed.
  • Fast openers and turn-cycle abusers — Her second skill knocks the target's Combat Readiness backward, delaying a hero who relies on going first or on chaining extra turns and stealing the tempo back from them.
  • Shielded or near-unkillable targets — Because her dispel removes protective effects like barriers and invincibility before damage resolves, she can crack open defenders who would otherwise be impossible to pressure.
  • Attrition and poke duels — Her basic attack steals health back as she fights, letting her out-sustain low-pressure opponents who try to grind her down rather than burst her.

Countered by

  • Buff immunity and cleansing — If the target carries immunity or can cleanse, her buff-strip and Combat Readiness push are blocked or undone, neutering the only disruption she brings.
  • Anti-heal effects — Her sustain hinges entirely on lifesteal from her basic attack, so an unhealable debuff shuts off her recovery and lets enemies wear her down.
  • Fast burst before she acts — She is slow, has no defensive passive, and her strip and CR push both sit on a 4-turn cooldown, so quick teams can act first and kill or set up before her single-target disruption ever lands.
  • Counter-dispel and buff manipulation — Her self-applied Attack and Defense boost can be stolen, dispelled, or shortened, removing the offensive and defensive edge she gives herself when she strips a target.
