Magic Scholar Doris is a 3-star Light Soul Weaver support healer. Her basic Mana Bullet is a single-target light attack with a chance to lower the enemy's Hit Chance for a turn, while her real job is keeping allies alive: Celebration of Light heals the whole team for an amount based on each ally's max Health and grants continuous healing plus a Defense buff for 2 turns, and Primal Light cleanses one debuff from an ally, heals them, and pushes their Combat Readiness by 35%. She has no passive and acts slowly, so she leans entirely on those two cooldown skills to sustain, cleanse, and accelerate her team.

Counters

  • Teams that rely on debuffs and crowd control — Primal Light cleanses a debuff off an ally before healing them, and Celebration of Light pours continuous healing onto the whole team, so stacked debuffs, defense breaks, damage-over-time, silences, and stuns get scrubbed off and out-sustained instead of sticking.
  • Burst and HP-scaling attackers trying to delete a target — Celebration of Light heals the entire team for an amount based on each ally's own max Health and layers on a Defense buff plus continuous healing for 2 turns, blunting big single hits and topping the team back up before the damage can finish anyone.
  • Slow openers racing for the first move — Primal Light pushes one ally's Combat Readiness by 35% on top of healing and cleansing, letting a key ally jump the turn order and act before an enemy that was counting on going first.
  • Dodge or evasion-leaning attackers — Mana Bullet attacks with light energy and has a chance to lower the target's Hit Chance for a turn, and her light magic is built to land reliably, so it pressures opponents leaning on misses and evasion.

Countered by

  • Anti-heal effects that make targets unhealable — Her entire value is healing — the team heal, the continuous healing, and the heal tacked onto her cleanse all scale off max Health. An enemy that applies an unhealable debuff shuts that lifeline off and leaves her with little to do.
  • Enemies that strip or steal buffs — The Defense buff and continuous healing from Celebration of Light, and any protection she stacks, can be dispelled, stolen, or have their duration cut short, removing the safety net she just spent a long cooldown to set up.
  • Immunity on the enemy — Her only debuff is the Hit Chance reduction on Mana Bullet, so an opponent under Immunity simply ignores it and she contributes nothing on offense beyond chip damage.
  • Pressure during her cooldowns — Celebration of Light sits on a 5-turn cooldown and Primal Light on 3, she has no passive, and she is slow, so a fast aggressive team can land a kill in the windows where her heal and cleanse are unavailable.
