Mistychain is a 3-star Ice Mage built around lifesteal sustain and shutting down enemy healing. Her attacks all strike a single target, and on her basic and her long-cooldown skill she absorbs part of the damage she deals to heal the whole team. Her signature spell hits one enemy with a chance to apply both Unhealable, which blocks all health recovery, and Attack Down for two turns. Her kit also carries a revive element, letting her come back into the fight, but she has no passive and no way to hit multiple enemies at once.

Counters

  • Enemies that lean on healers and self-healing — Her spell can stamp Unhealable on a target, completely cutting off health recovery, so heal-reliant teams and lifesteal bruisers can no longer top themselves back up.
  • Reviving and lifesteal-based comps — By denying healing on a key target she neuters the value of sustain effects like lifesteal and continuous heals, turning a durable enemy into a beatable one.
  • Hard-hitting attackers — Her spell can also stack Attack Down for two turns, blunting the damage of a heavy hitter while she keeps her own team alive.
  • Attrition and grindy fights — Both her main attacks return some of the damage she deals as healing for all allies, so she quietly out-sustains opponents in long, drawn-out exchanges.

Countered by

  • Cleanse and effect-clearing supports — Her whole edge is the Unhealable and Attack Down she lands on one target; a cleanse wipes both off and instantly restores the enemy's healing.
  • Effect Resistance and immunity — Her debuffs only land on a chance, so high resistance can shrug them off, and an immunity buff blocks Unhealable and Attack Down outright.
  • Getting hit with Unhealable herself — She wins by healing her team through lifesteal; if the enemy stamps Unhealable on her side, her own sustain shuts off and her game plan collapses.
  • Burst and multi-target pressure — She strikes only one enemy at a time, leans on a long cooldown for her big drain, and has no passive defenses, so a fast wide-hitting team can overwhelm her before she stabilizes.
