Penelope is a Dark Thief who snowballs through kills: every time she defeats an enemy she refunds 75% Combat Readiness, letting her chain immediately into the next target, and her basic attack stacks her own Attack up to three times. Her control skill drains an enemy's resource by 100% before striking, with a chance to stun them and lower their Attack. Her support skill trims a turn off every ally's debuffs, wraps herself in an Attack-scaling barrier, and hands her an immediate extra turn. The result is a single-target opener and disruptor who self-accelerates as bodies drop.

Counters

  • Fragile priority targets she can finish off — Each kill refunds 75% Combat Readiness, so once she drops one squishy enemy she immediately acts again with a higher Attack stack, snowballing across a frail back line.
  • Enemies that rely on having resources to act — Her control skill strips 100% of a target's resource and can stun for a turn, denying a key hero the energy and the action it needs to use its skill.
  • Teams leaning on debuff pressure — Her support skill shortens every ally's debuff by a turn, blunting opposing poison, stuns, or stat-downs meant to grind her side down.
  • Slower lineups in the opening exchange — The extra turn from her support skill plus her self Attack buff let her act early and set up a stun before slower enemies move.

Countered by

  • Cleanse and debuff removal — Her stun and Attack-down are single debuffs on one target, so a cleanse simply wakes the locked enemy and erases the control before it matters.
  • Effect immunity and resistance — If the target enters the fight under immunity or resists, her stun and Attack-down never land, leaving only a resource strip with no follow-up lockdown.
  • Buff stripping — Her self-barrier is her main durability; a dispel peels it off, exposing her thin Thief defenses to retaliation.
  • Long cooldowns on her control tools — Both her support and her stun-and-strip skill sit on a four-turn cooldown, so once they are spent she leans on a basic single-target attack with no way to repeat the lockdown.
