Bad Cat Armin is a 4-star Dark Warrior tank built around provoke and counterattacking, with damage and a team barrier that both scale off her own max Health. Her S1 hits one enemy with a 45% chance to provoke for a turn, but on her own turn it transforms into an attack against all enemies (which won't trigger a dual attack). Her passive, after she's attacked, can grant Critical Hit Damage to the foremost ally and make them counterattack, and that chance doubles when the attacker is under her provoke. Her S3 explosion provokes a single target and shields the whole team for 2 turns, again sized to her Health, making her a frontline that taunts threats onto herself while keeping allies barriered and firing back.

Counters

  • Single-target burst pickers — Her provoke forces an enemy to attack her instead of choosing your back-line carry, and her team barrier soaks the first big hit. A burst plan aimed at one priority target gets routed into a tanky HP-scaling wall.
  • Drawn-out attrition bruisers — The longer the fight, the more her counter passive feeds value: every time she's struck she can hand the front ally extra Crit Damage and a counterattack, and provoked enemies double that trigger chance, so prolonged exchanges turn against the attacker.
  • Multi-hit and area attackers — Her 2-turn team barrier eats incoming ticks for its duration, blunting wide attacks, while each enemy swing into her is another chance to spawn a counterattack from her ally.
  • Buff-stacking enemies — Her kit shortens enemy buff duration, chipping away at opponents who rely on layering and holding their buffs to function.

Countered by

  • Immunity and cleanse — Her control hinges on provoke, which is a debuff. Enemies under immunity bounce it off entirely, and a cleanse wipes it, so they're free to ignore her and pick your back-line again.
  • Buff removal — Her protection is the team barrier and the Crit Damage buff. Dispels strip the barrier right before the kill, and buff-steal or buff-duration cuts deny the shield she's leaning on to keep allies alive.
  • Counter shutdown and lockdown — Hard control that stuns, sleeps, or freezes her stops her from acting and counterattacking, and effects that simply forbid counterattacks switch off her core retaliation engine outright.
  • True burst before she can react — Her value builds over multiple enemy attacks; a one-shot that deletes a target outright never gives her counter passive and provoke loop time to pay off, and her long 4-turn S3 cooldown means the team barrier isn't always up.

Attacks the enemy with a giant shield, with a 45% chance to --provoke-- for 1 turn. Damage dealt increases proportional to the caster's max Health. When used on the caster's turn, Are You Ready?! changes into an attack that targets all enemies. The changed attack does not trigger a Dual Attack.
