Rem is a slow Ice Warrior bruiser built around her Demon Mode stance and a powerful counterattack. Her single-target first skill smashes one enemy with a chance to lower their Defense, and gains a bonus follow-up hit whenever she is in Demon Mode. Her passive turns every death on the field into fuel: it cleanses her own debuffs and grants her Demon Mode, and any time an ally is struck she retaliates with Iron Strike, hitting every enemy, shaving a turn off their buffs, and locking on Unhealable so they cannot recover health. Her third skill buffs her own Attack for three turns before leaping in for an area attack that blinds the whole enemy team with a Miss Chance.

Counters

  • Healers and lifesteal/recovery teams — Her Iron Strike counter blankets the enemy team with Unhealable, so once it lands their healers and any health-recovery effects stop working, and the same effect punishes drain and lifesteal bruisers who rely on healing back up.
  • Buff-stacking and revive-leaning compositions — Iron Strike shortens every enemy buff by a turn each time it triggers, eroding stacked offensive or defensive buffs; combined with the Unhealable lock she pressures revive and sustain cores by denying the recovery they depend on.
  • Tanky front-liners and Defense-heavy walls — Her single-target opener has a chance to drop a target's Defense for two turns, and while she holds Demon Mode that hit comes twice, letting her chew through bulky defenders her own team can then finish.
  • Hard-hitting attackers that target her allies — Whenever an ally is hit she answers with Iron Strike, so aggressive enemies that swing at her team feed her counter, and the area blind from her third skill makes the enemy team's follow-up attacks likely to miss.

Countered by

  • Cleanse and immunity — Her key pressure is the Unhealable debuff and buff-duration cut from Iron Strike; an enemy that cleanses those off or enters the fight under immunity simply ignores them, neutering the value of her counter.
  • Anti-counter effects — Almost everything she does outside her own turn flows through her counterattack; if an enemy prevents counterattacks, Iron Strike never fires and she loses the Unhealable lock, buff trimming, and most of her board presence.
  • Dispel and buff stealing — She leans on her self Attack buff and on holding Demon Mode for the extra attack; the Attack buff can be stripped or stolen, but Demon Mode is undispellable — out-pace or burst her to deny it instead.
  • Fast control before she can act — At 102 base Speed she is genuinely slow, so faster teams can stun, silence, or lock her down and burst before she ever sets up Demon Mode or lands her opening Defense break.
