Charlotte

Charlotte is a Fire Knight bruiser who fights as a self-sufficient single-target duelist that flexes into a wide attacker. Her main strike hits one enemy, always lands as a critical hit, pushes her own Combat Readiness by 25%, and lowers the target's Attack; but if she goes in carrying a buff and it is not a Dual Attack, that same strike instead hits the whole enemy team and doubles her Fighting Spirit gain. Her passive keeps a one-turn barrier (scaling off her Attack) refreshing at battle start and end of turn, and while she holds a buff she deals 50% more damage and takes 50% less, making her hardest to kill exactly when she is winning. Her spinning attack hits all enemies and stamps them unhealable for 2 turns, choking off enemy healing.

• Slow burst and chip-damage compositions — The self-refreshing barrier each turn plus 50% damage reduction whenever she holds a buff lets her shrug off poke, attrition, and chip damage, outlasting teams that try to grind her down slowly rather than delete her in one window.
• Setup and stall enemies that need time — Her main strike instantly pushes her own Combat Readiness by 25% and always crits, letting her open hard and take extra turns. • Cleanse and buff-removal on her targets — Her unhealable stamp and the Attack-down she relies on can be cleansed off the enemy team, and the unhealable mark can be dispelled, undoing the healing lockout she sets up and letting the enemy recover normally.
• Immunity that blocks her debuffs — If enemies enter the fight under immunity, her unhealable mark and Attack-down simply fail to land, leaving her with only raw damage and no way to shut off their sustain.
• Her own no-buff state — Her wide hit, doubled Fighting Spirit, the 50% damage boost, and the 50% damage reduction all switch on only while she carries a buff. Strip or deny her that buff and she shrinks to a single-target attacker who is both softer and hits just one enemy.
• Enemy healing that beats her unhealable window — The unhealable mark lasts only 2 turns and her spin is the only way to apply it broadly, so faster or staggered enemy healers can recover in the gaps once the mark expires.
