Silvertide Christy is an Earth Knight tank built around her own max Health: her basic attack deals damage that scales with her Health and has a chance to provoke a single enemy for one turn, locking that target onto her. Her signature passive triggers after she is attacked while she carries no debuff, pushing the combat readiness of herself and her back-row ally so they act sooner, and at the start of the battle she permanently grants that back-row ally 100% of her own Effect Resistance until that ally dies. Her active team skill increases all allies' Attack for two turns, raises her own Effectiveness, and heals her based on her max Health. She is a slow, durable support-protector rather than a damage dealer.

Counters

  • Single damage dealers who must hit a specific target — Her attack can provoke one enemy for a turn, forcing that hero to attack her instead of choosing its own target. A lone carry that relies on landing a key hit gets redirected into her tanky, Health-scaled body.
  • Effect-heavy enemies aimed at a fragile back-row carry — At battle start she gifts the back-row ally 100% of her own Effect Resistance for the whole fight, on top of pushing that ally's combat readiness when she is struck. Teams that try to stun, strip, or debuff that protected carry find their effects far more likely to miss it.
  • Slower attrition lineups trying to out-trade her — Her damage and her self-heal both scale with her max Health, and the team Attack buff plus combat-readiness pushes give her side extra tempo. Grindy enemies that win by chipping down a frontline struggle against a tank who heals off a huge Health pool while feeding turns to her allies.

Countered by

  • Any debuff applied to Christy herself — Her combat-readiness push only fires when she has no debuff on her. Landing even a minor debuff on her shuts off the back-row tempo engine entirely, since the passive checks for a clean state before activating.
  • Buff removal and buff-duration cuts — Her support rests on buffs: the all-ally Attack increase, her own Effectiveness, and her self-applied protection. Stripping or shortening those buffs erases the value of her five-turn team skill and leaves her allies without the boost she just spent a long cooldown to grant.
  • Heal-blocking and burst that ignores provoke — Her sustain comes only from the Health-based heal on a long five-turn cooldown, so preventing healing leaves her unable to recover between uses. Enemies that simply burst down a non-provoked target, or kill the back-row ally outright, sidestep her single-target lock and end her protective passive (it drops when that ally dies).
  • Resistance-piercing single-target control on the carry — Her whole protective identity funnels into one back-row ally's Effect Resistance. A reliable single-target stun or strip with enough Effectiveness can still land on that carry, and because she only provokes and pushes turns rather than blocking control, she cannot stop the lockdown once it connects.
