Krau is the canonical damage-share tank: while his ultimate is off cooldown he redirects 25% of the damage an ally takes onto himself, letting him body-block for a fragile carry. He is an Ice Knight whose damage scales off his huge max Health; his basic can provoke, and his second skill shoves a single target back on the turn order before shielding the whole team with a Defense buff for two turns. His ultimate summons Ziegfried for a Defense-penetrating strike that scales off his own lost Health and cannot crit. He is slow and has no passive, leaning on staying alive to keep absorbing and dealing damage.

  • Fragile burst carries he can soak for — While his ultimate is off cooldown he routes 25% of an ally's incoming damage onto himself, and his second skill blankets the whole team in a Defense buff for two turns, so a glass-cannon backline he protects survives hits that would otherwise kill it.
  • Single dangerous attackers he can lock down — His basic attack can provoke a target for a turn, forcing it to attack only him, and his second skill shoves one enemy down the turn order, denying a key threat its action and buying his team tempo.
  • High-Defense walls — His Ziegfried strike ignores the enemy's Defense entirely and scales harder the more Health he has lost, so beefy defensive targets that shrug off normal hits still take real damage from it.
  • Fast openers trying to act first — By pushing back a target's Combat Readiness he can interrupt an enemy that relies on moving early to start a chain or land its setup before his team can respond.

  • Buff strip and dispel — His protection is buffs and a provoke that can be removed: dispel wipes the team Defense buff from his second skill, and stripping or stealing his provoke frees the enemy he locked down, collapsing his control and team-shielding.
  • Cleanse and Immunity — His only crowd control is the provoke on his basic attack, so an enemy that cleanses it off or pre-applies Immunity simply ignores the lock-down, leaving him as a slow tank with no way to redirect their target.
  • Unhealable applied to him — His sustain leans on staying healthy to feed his lost-Health scaling and keep absorbing for allies; blocking his healing lets accumulated damage stick and eventually drops the tank that the team is built around.
  • Slow, cooldown-gated kit — He moves late, has no passive, and his shove plus damage-share both sit behind 4 and 6 turn cooldowns, so faster teams can act before him and burst his protected carry during the windows when his ultimate is down and the damage-share is gone.
