Shadow Rose is a 4-star Dark Knight built around shutting down enemy recovery and softening single targets. Her basic attack tears down a foe's Defense while they are healthy, then switches to applying Unhealable once that foe drops below half Health, locking off any healing they receive. Her main skill leaps in to strip one of an enemy's buffs and stack a longer Defense break, and her ultimate hits the whole enemy team to push back their Combat Readiness by 25% while raising her own Effectiveness so her debuffs land reliably. She has no passive and runs at roughly average speed.

Counters

  • Healers and sustain-based survivors — Once a target falls below half Health her basic attack makes them Unhealable, so teams that lean on a dedicated healer or steady recovery to stay alive can no longer top that target back up and simply get whittled down.
  • Buff-stacking and protection-reliant enemies — Her leaping strike dispels one of a target's buffs outright, peeling off a key shield, immortality, or attack buff and then piling on a two-turn Defense break to crack what it was hiding behind.
  • Fast cleave and turn-one aggressors — Her ultimate hits every enemy and knocks their Combat Readiness back by 25%, delaying the whole team's turns and blunting openers and burst compositions that need to move first.
  • Tanky bruisers and high-Defense walls — Stacking Defense reduction from both her basic and her leaping strike strips away a sturdy target's mitigation, letting her and her allies punch through durable front-liners far faster.

Countered by

  • Immunity going up before she acts — A shield that blocks debuffs stops her Defense break and her Unhealable from landing entirely, neutering nearly her whole kit since almost everything she does is a debuff.
  • Cleanse on the enemy team — An ally-side cleanse wipes off the Unhealable lock and the Defense reduction right after she applies them, undoing her setup before it pays off.
  • Having her own Effectiveness buff removed — Her ultimate's self Effectiveness boost is what makes her debuffs reliable; an enemy that dispels or steals it leaves her debuffs far more likely to be resisted.
  • Cooldown and single-target gaps — Her dispel-and-Defense-break skill is on a three-turn cooldown and her ultimate on five, and the dispel only removes one buff from one enemy, so between cooldowns she leans on a plain single-target attack and can be outpaced or overwhelmed by wide buffs.
