Successor Taeyou is a Light Warrior built around a self-sustaining tempo engine. His spear strike always lands a critical hit, hits a single target, and drains 20% of that enemy's Combat Readiness; every point of readiness he steals feeds a Fighting Spirit gauge, and when it fills he refills his own bar by 100% and enters a powered-up "possession" state for two turns. While possessed his basic attack upgrades into a stronger self-buffing follow-up, and his 5-turn skill (which deals no direct damage) strips two buffs from every enemy with a chance to cut their Defense, ignoring Effect Resistance, while also extending his own buffs and handing him an extra turn. He is a single-target bruiser and disruptor, not a wide cleaver.

  • Buff-dependent teams and stacked frontlines — His non-attacking skill dispels two buffs from every enemy at once, reliably tearing down barrier shells, defensive layers, and attack stacks that rivals lean on to function.
  • Defensive walls and immortal/invincible tanks — Stripping their protective buffs collapses the shields and damage-prevention they rely on, and the chance to lower Defense for two turns opens those bulky targets up to follow-up damage.
  • Fast openers trying to set the pace — His spear always crits and shaves 20% Combat Readiness off whoever he hits, denying the enemy's next turn; that stolen readiness also charges his gauge so he snowballs into bonus turns of his own.
  • Drawn-out attrition matchups — Self attack buffs, extended buff durations while powered up, and free extra turns let him keep escalating his own tempo while peeling the enemy's advantages away every few turns.

  • Buff-duration manipulators and counter-dispellers — Heroes who shorten or steal buffs can rip away the attack boost and extended buffs he stacks on himself while powered up, dismantling the snowball his possession state depends on.
  • Single-target focus and burst — He only damages one enemy at a time, so concentrated burst or focus-fire can drop him before his Fighting Spirit fills and before his 5-turn strip comes back off cooldown.
