Veronica

Veronica is a 4-star Fire Ranger built to dismantle defensive, buff-stacked targets one at a time. Her main attack hits a single enemy, pushes the turn of her highest-readiness ally, and detonates any bomb effects on the target at the end of the turn. Her passive, Vampire Hunter, strips immortality from all enemies at the start of her turn while ignoring Effect Resistance, and rewards her with bonus turn meter whenever an enemy still carries immortality. Her single-target skill on a five-turn cooldown dispels two buffs before planting a two-turn bomb, ignores Effect Resistance, and grants an extra turn on a critical hit.

Counters

• Immortality and revive teams — Her passive automatically removes immortality from every enemy at the start of her turn and ignores Effect Resistance doing it, so units leaning on undying or unkillable states get stripped and exposed before they can stall.
• Buff-stacked threats — Both her attacks dispel enemy buffs (two at once on her cooldown skill) while ignoring Effect Resistance, peeling protection off heroes who depend on layered attack, defense, or barrier buffs to function.
• Bomb and detonate setups — She plants a two-turn bomb and her main attack detonates bomb effects on the target at end of turn, letting her chain into burst damage that ignores how tanky the target normally is.
• Tempo-control openers — She feeds turn meter to her fastest ally on her main skill, gains readiness off enemy immortality, and her cooldown skill grants an extra turn on a crit, so she can wrest the early initiative away from enemies racing to act first.

• Effect immunity — If a target is shielded by immunity, her bomb and buff-stripping can be blocked outright; her Ignore Effect Resistance helps against resistance but does not push through immunity.
• Cleanse and buff-duration shortening — Allies who cleanse the bomb she plants, or shorten its duration, defuse it before her detonate ever lands, removing her main payoff against that target.
• Buff theft and self-dispel — Enemies who steal or dispel their own buffs change the board faster than she can react, and since her dispel is reactive she can be left stripping nothing of value.
• Single-target ceiling and long cooldown — She only ever hits one enemy at a time and her best dispel-and-bomb skill sits on a five-turn cooldown, so against wide teams or in long fights she can be overwhelmed by multiple threats she can only address one at a time.
