Urban Shadow Choux is a 5-star Dark Warrior single-target bruiser whose damage and self-healing both scale off her own max Health. Her basic attack hits one enemy, pushes her own turn forward by raising her Combat Readiness, and feeds a Focus resource; her passive grants her crit chance, more Focus, and a self-buff each turn, and once Focus is full it instantly refreshes her main skill. That main skill stacks Injuries (a permanent cut to the target's max Health) and, when Focus is full, spends it to heal herself and deal heavy bonus damage based on the Injuries she has already inflicted. She is built to lock onto one target, repeatedly soften its health pool, and self-sustain through long fights.

Counters

  • Sustain and healer-reliant teams — She stacks Injuries that permanently shrink an enemy's max Health, and her full-Focus hit deals extra damage equal to a share of those Injuries, so the more a target tries to outlast her the more her damage and the harder her ceiling caps their healing.
  • High-HP tanks and bruisers — All her damage scales with max Health, and Injuries cut down a beefy target's effective HP pool, letting her chew through frontliners that would shrug off normal nukes.
  • Slow setup teams — Her basic attack self-pushes her Combat Readiness and builds Focus, and her passive feeds more Focus and resets her main skill at full stacks, so she takes extra turns and fires her big hit far more often than the enemy expects.
  • Attrition duels — Her main skill heals her off her own max Health while she keeps stacking Injuries, so she wins long one-on-one grinds where the opponent slowly loses their health ceiling and she refills hers.

  • Buff stealing and dispel — Her tempo depends on the self crit and turn-1 self-buff her passive grants each turn; stripping or stealing those buffs robs her of crit and momentum, and turning her own buffs against her weakens her self-driven setup.
  • Shortening buff duration — Her self-buff only lasts a turn already, so cutting buff durations can erase it before it matters and blunt the consistency of her crit and tempo.
  • Unhealable / heal block — Her survivability leans on spending full Focus to heal herself; if she is blocked from being healed, that recovery is wiped out and she can be burst down despite her high HP scaling.
  • Focus disruption and burst before setup — Her payoff hit needs full Focus to spend for the heal and the Injury-based bonus damage, and her nuke sits on a 5-turn cooldown when Focus is not full, so killing or hard-controlling her before she charges up denies her entire combo.
