Architect Laika is a 5-star Light Mage built as a speed-scaling assassin whose damage on her first and third skills grows with her own Speed. Her second skill (4-turn cooldown) confirms a target while dispelling two buffs and applying a Target mark that ignores the enemy's Effect Resistance, then buffs her own Attack and grants her an extra turn once that mark is in play. Her third skill (5-turn cooldown) hits all enemies, penetrates 80% of Defense against marked foes, ignores damage sharing on anything that isn't an Elite or Boss, and inflicts extinction (cannot be revived) on enemies it kills. Her first skill chips at a single target while pushing her own Combat Readiness 20% to keep her acting faster.

  • Buff-stacked teams and protected backliners — Her second skill strips two buffs at once and applies a Target mark, so she tears down enemies leaning on layered buffs and then opens them up for her own burst.
  • Damage-sharing and protection cores — Her ultimate ignores damage-sharing links against any target that isn't an Elite or Boss, letting her delete a squishy carrier even when an ally is meant to soak the hit for them.
  • Revive and immortality comps — Her ultimate inflicts extinction on enemies it kills, so a defeated unit cannot be brought back, shutting down resurrection-based and endlessly-recurring teams.
  • Tanky defensive walls — With the Target mark active she penetrates 80% of the enemy's Defense and adds her own Attack buff, so high-Defense bruisers and walls do not survive the follow-up the way they would against ordinary nukers.

  • Cleanse and immunity support — Cleansing the Target mark off the enemy, or shielding allies with immunity beforehand, removes the mark she relies on for her extra turn, her 80% Defense penetration, and much of her threat.
  • Long cooldown windows — Her control and burst live on a 4-turn dispel and a 5-turn ultimate; once those are spent she is left with only her single-target first skill, so surviving or stalling her opener leaves her with little immediate follow-up.
  • Out-speeding her — Almost everything she does scales with Speed and depends on acting first to land her mark and pull her extra turn, so a faster team that strikes before her, or strips her own Attack buff, blunts her whole sequence.
